Biography:
Classical and jazz pianist, Olga Konkova was born in Russia and moved to Norway in the mid '90s. She has performed all around Europe with many musicians, such as Ralph Peterson, Gary Husband, Bill Bruford, Alex Sipiagin, Boris Kozlov, Bobby Shew and Audun Kleive.
Her sessions on Candid found Olga paired with husband, Per Mathisen, rapidly becoming recognised as one of Europe's leading bassists. Allied to Olga's command of the keyboard, in solo or trio context, her originals demonstrate her considerable compositional skill.
