Muhal Richard Abrams was an award-winning jazz pioneer and founder of the legendary Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM). His resume includes an impressive list of associations including Dexter Gordon, Max Roach and Art Farmer.  

This solo session was recording in September of 1975 at in Chicago for Masihiko Yuh’s WhyNot label.
