The 1975 debut album from the the archetypal free jazz trio, originally formed out of a similar co-operative called Reflection in 1971.

Japanese producer Masahiko Yuh recorded Air for his WhyNot label. Both of those albums albums (along with most of the WhyNot catalog) are now available here on Candid Records.

The trio functions with all three members contributing musically on an equal foot. The creative solos and advanced interplay make this record sublimely satisfying and this album is an impressive document from a revolutionary period in the evolution of jazz music.
