The music presented here was recorded "live" at Chemekata College, Oregon, USA on 8th February 1998 (a particularly lively Sunday afternoon.) The playing is spontaneous, unselfconscious, direct, energetic and honest, risks were taken, adrenalin was flowing and smiles were in abundance.
Jessica Williams is joined by Dave Captein (bass) and Mel Brown (drums) for this "jazz in the afternoon" recording - a series that was co-sponsored by Wiilliamette Valley Vineyards.
