Equally fluent on tenor and soprano saxophones, Dimitrios has put together a thoughtful collection of his original compositions on this, his first Candid outing. His fellow musicians on this recording are well-respected and extremely talented members of the Greek jazz community.
Dimitrios' friend and label mate saxophonist Craig Bailey was on hand in Athens for this recording and the two horn men show their affinity for one another on the lively 'Regroova Ce,' 'Aegean Samba,' and 'Mind of Blue' - a funk and fittingly groovy climax to an auspicious debut.
